Established in 1948, A&H Implement Company has been serving Altamont and the surrounding communities since the turn of the century. Mrs. Louis Hoffmeister, assisted by her son Ronald, operated A&H until she remarried in 1972. At that time, another son, Jerry, joined the business in partnership with Ronald, and they continued to sell vehicles under the name of A&H Implement Company.
In 1977, a new body shop was built, and Ronald's son, Michael, began working for the family business. Extensive improvements were made to the original building in 1994. By 1996, Ronald and Jerry employed fifteen people, and the business was incorporated. In December 2003, Ronald retired, and soon after, Jerry and Michael became the partner owners of A&H.
In 2008, a new building was constructed, featuring a state-of-the-art paint room. The company continues to grow through its fine selection of cars and trucks and its excellent services. In January 2025, Phil and Shannon Webster purchased the business. We plan to continue the A&H legacy as A&H Auto Repair and Sales and A&H Auto Body. Great customer service with fast service is our focus. We are upgrading equipment and services and plan to serve the Altamont area for many years to come!
